About The Little Play Café

Every journey begins with a step, and ours began with a simple belief: Play is how children make sense of the world.

At The Little Play Café, we are deeply committed to cultivating a safe and engaging environment where children can play, explore, learn, and grow.

Inspired by the Montessori method, we have designed a unique play space that encourages open-ended, loose parts, and imaginative play.

Meet Kim Tekirian

Founder & Director of Play

Owner, Kim Tekirian, is a mother, wife, small business owner, and PLAY advocate. She owns and operates multiple successful businesses, along with her husband, Chris Tekirian.

As parents of one toddler, and two children, they have experienced first-hand how important it is for children to be given the opportunity to play in a safe and comfortable environment, and that parents deserve some time to themselves too.

I love being able to watch the expressions on my children’s faces when they are deep in PLAY!, and I wanted to create a safe space where that is the main focus.
